WHATS’ NEW

For a limited time only, we have number supply of whole spit rat from exotic breed for market sample availability.

Please select from the following breeds, and allow an extra 4-6 days for delivery:

Add Product to Shopping Cart Rattus Colletti - This “dusky rat” originals come from Australia, but a quick crate of kiwis from the Southern shore proved that wrong. These have savory flavor, and are quite lean.

Add Product to Shopping Cart Rattus Elephinus - The Sula rat, originally from Indonesia, not considered a domesticated breed in any reach of the world, makes for a very smoky, natural flavor.

Add Product to Shopping Cart Rattus Hoogerwerfi - Another Indonesian rat, this one slightly smaller, but with a richer, leaner, more savory meat.

Add Product to Shopping Cart Rattus Koopmani - Another Indonesian rat (chosen for its ease of import to China), this one has a unique flavor best described as deer or elk to a person who has never tasted it.

Add Product to Shopping Cart Rattus Macleari - The Christmas Rat, found originally only on Christmas Island, was thought to have gone extinct in 1903. Genotyping by the University of Bangladesh discovered a distinct speciation remaining on Christmas Island, one being very nearly the Black Rat, with the other being Rattus Macleari, which is larger, angrier, and lower in sodium, despite having a very developed taste. (Check biology periodicals for evidence.)

Add Product to Shopping Cart Rattus Marmosurus - It took large effort to import mating pairs from Papua New Guinea, but we know people. This is a smaller rat with mangy fur and a noticeably shorter tail. It has a roasted, pine sort of flavor, almost with a hit of nuts or un-ripened berries.

Add Product to Shopping Cart Rattus Mordax - The Oppossum rat is native to Indonesia, and wonderful because its large size lends itself to fatty tissues that simmer down to moisten the meats, tempt the taste buds and entice the sense of smell unto intoxication.

Add Product to Shopping Cart Rattus Nitidus - The Himalayan field rat is native to our factory home in China, though not as common in our province as demand might request. This is a stringy meat animal, best for stews, soups or simmering for broths. It has limited meat, but a marrow very rich.

Add Product to Shopping Cart Rattus Sordidus - Another Indonesian import, this Dusky Field Rat is rich in flavor, low in fats, approaching zero for carbs, and although it can stand on its own as a straight grilled beef, it’s best enjoyed in a simmered stew pot to soften the sinewy connective bits.

Add Product to Shopping Cart Rattus Tanezumi - The Tanezumi rat is common across much of Eurasia, including here in China, where we were able to procure our breeding pairs at a roadside child pet place. These aren’t the most striking in terms of taste, and they lack much meat, but they have a richness in low cholesterol fatty tissues might undo twenty years of poor eating.

Add Product to Shopping Cart Rattus Turkestanicus (pyctoris) - Another Chinese native, this mini-beast has a coat as thick as a farm-girl’s fehyman. Grilled or baked it is inferior to its nearest cousin, the Rattus Nitidus, but when boiled or slow-cooked with the skin and fur intact, the flavor will stew to something you just can’t imagine… some love it, but for others it causes immediate gag and vomit reflexes merely upon smell of all that burnt rat hair. This may be an acquired taste, and is ready for delivery.
